those racks were faulty, or way overloaded for that to happen. I've hit ours hundreds of times at work. They also should be bolted to the ground.

Notice how the shelves looked stronger than the uprights supporting them? Cheap shelf system. serves them right. I'd sue if I were the fork driver.
